How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your API subscription account and process payments.
- To issue, manage, and monitor API keys and enforce rate limits and plan entitlements.
- To send important notifications: payment approvals, plan expiry reminders, and security alerts.
- To improve our scraper, API performance, and market coverage based on usage patterns.
Data Security
- API keys are stored as hashed values — raw keys are only shown once at creation/renewal time.
- Passwords are hashed using scrypt (industry-standard) — never stored in plaintext.
- Payment proof images are auth-gated — only the account owner and admins can view them.
- All admin actions are logged in an audit trail with IP addresses and timestamps.
- Sessions use httpOnly cookies with HMAC-signed tokens to prevent tampering.
Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active and up to 90 days after deletion.
- API usage logs are retained for 90 days for analytics and abuse detection.
- Payment proof images are retained for 1 year for audit purposes, then automatically deleted.
- Scrape logs are retained for 30 days for operational diagnostics.
- Results data (market results) is retained indefinitely as it is public information.
Your Rights
- Access: You can view all your account data from the dashboard settings page.
- Correction: You can update your name, email, phone, and company from settings.
- Deletion: You can request account deletion — your data will be removed within 90 days.
- Export: You can export your order history and API key usage from the dashboard.
- Opt-out: You can disable email notifications from the notification preferences page.
