How do I sign up for a Satta Matka API account?

Click "Get Started" in the navbar, choose the "Create Account" tab, and provide your email, password, name, and (optionally) company and phone. You will receive an email verification link — click it to activate your account. No credit card is required for signup or for the 2-day free trial.

How do I get an API key?

Accepted Answer

After signing in, go to Pricing, choose a plan (Free Trial requires no payment), and complete checkout. For paid plans, upload your UPI/bank transfer payment proof and our team will approve it within minutes (typically under 1 hour during business hours). Once approved, your API key (format: sm__<32-hex>) appears in your dashboard under "API Keys".

How do I make my first API call?

What is the free trial and what does it include?

The free trial gives you 2 days of full API access at no cost. It includes 28,800 requests per month (~960/day), 10 requests per minute rate limit, and access to live results, today's results, single-market results, and 7 days of history. Chart and bulk endpoints are gated to paid plans. No credit card required; the trial auto-expires. The /api/results/board endpoint is also publicly callable without a key — pana and jodi values are masked as ***/** until you authenticate.

What are the rate limits per plan?

Free Trial: 10 requests/minute. 1 Month: 300 requests/minute. 6 Month: 300 requests/minute. 12 Months: 500 requests/minute. Monthly request quotas: Free Trial = 28,800, 1 Month = 500,000, 6 Month = 3,000,000, 12 Months = 6,000,000. Rate limit headers (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset) are included in every response.

Does the API support pagination?

Yes. List endpoints (history, scrape logs) support cursor-based pagination. Use ?limit=N (max 365 for history, default 30) and the response includes a nextCursor field for the next page. The /api/results/bulk endpoint supports up to 50 markets in a single request.

What format are API responses in?

All responses are JSON with UTF-8 encoding. Standard envelope: { data: ..., total: N, cachedAt: ISO timestamp }. Errors return { error: "message", code: "ERROR_CODE" } with appropriate HTTP status (400, 401, 403, 404, 429, 500). The Content-Type header is always application/json.

What are the common error codes?

401 Missing API key — no Bearer token provided. 401 Invalid API key — token format is wrong or key is revoked. 403 Plan limit — your plan does not include this endpoint (e.g., charts on free trial). 403 Domain mismatch — your registered domain does not match the request origin. 404 Market not found — slug is invalid. 429 Rate limit exceeded — slow down. 500 Internal error — contact support.

How do I authenticate my API requests?

Send a Bearer token in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer sm_pro_your_32_char_hex. Keys look like sm__<32 hex> (sm_free_, sm_basic_, sm_pro_, sm_enterprise_). You can also send X-API-Key. Do not put new keys in the URL (?key=). Keys are case-sensitive and must be kept secret.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), and QR code payments. Manual payment workflow: select a plan, complete payment via your preferred method, upload the screenshot + UTR/transaction reference, and our team verifies and approves within 1 business hour. Credit/debit cards are not currently supported — this keeps costs low for Indian customers.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. If the API has not been used (zero requests) or there is a documented service outage exceeding our SLA, you may request a full refund. To request a refund, email support@sattamatkaapi.live with your order number and reason. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Sign in, go to Pricing, select the higher-tier plan, and complete checkout. Your new plan starts immediately upon approval. Time remaining on your current plan is prorated: if you upgrade from 1 Month (15 days left) to 6 Month, your 6-month plan extends by 15 days. The new API key uses the new plan prefix (e.g., sm_pro_... instead of sm_basic_...). Your old key remains valid until expiry.

What happens when my plan expires?

Our expiry engine runs hourly. When your plan expires: (1) your account auto-downgrades to "free" tier, (2) your API keys are deactivated (status: expired), (3) you receive an in-app notification and email, (4) reminders are sent 7 days and 1 day before expiry. To avoid service disruption, upgrade before expiry or enable auto-renewal by re-purchasing the same plan.

How often are results updated?

The scraper runs on an adaptive interval: every 25 seconds during peak hours (when markets are declaring) and every 90 seconds during off-peak. Results are typically available within 50-150ms of declaration on the source. Webhooks fire immediately upon result publication; the live board page polls every 30 seconds. WebSocket feeds push updates in real-time for paid plans.

What are starline markets?

Starline markets are hourly matka markets that open and close every hour from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM IST. We cover 10 starline providers (Kalyan, Main Bazar, Milan, Rajdhani, Madhur, Sridevi, Sridevi Bazar, Supreme, Bhagya Shree, Kuber) across 12 hourly slots, giving you 120+ starline markets in the API. Starline endpoints require the Enterprise plan.

Does the API support WebSocket connections?

Yes. On Pro and Enterprise plans, set a webhook in Dashboard → Webhooks. We POST JSON to your HTTPS URL the moment a result is published (result.new and related events). Sign requests with the secret we send on X-SattaMatkaAPI-Signature. Polling GET /api/results/live every 5–10 seconds with Authorization: Bearer also works on every plan.

How do I set up webhooks?

Sign in, go to Dashboard → Webhooks, click "New Webhook", enter your endpoint URL (https:// required), select events to subscribe to (result.new, key.expiring, order.completed, usage.threshold_75, usage.threshold_90, etc.), optionally set a signing secret, and click Create. We POST a JSON payload with X-SattaMatkaAPI-Event and X-SattaMatkaAPI-Signature headers. Use the "Test" button to send a sample event.

What is domain binding and how do I set it?

Domain binding restricts your API key to specific domains for security. In Dashboard → API Keys → Edit, add your allowed origins (e.g., ["yourapp.com", "app.yourapp.com"]). The API checks the Origin or X-Site-Domain header on every request and returns 403 if it does not match. Trusted keys (admin-issued) bypass this check. Domain binding is recommended for production deployments.

Is the API served over HTTPS with valid SSL?

Yes. The site and API share the same host: https://sattamatkaapi.live. All endpoints are HTTPS. HTTP is redirected. Use Authorization: Bearer on that host — there is no separate api. subdomain.
